I would like to say on behalf of my mum , who stayed here , what a lovely place this is, the staff are extremely kind and patient, the meal s are lovely and there was plenty of them. They keep family members updated and informed, as a daughter I felt very worried when my mum had to go here , as I didn't know what it would be like , but straight away I felt relaxed as everyone was so kind , there is always plenty of staff , so no one is left needing help , and they were also very kind to my dad who spent every day there as he missed my mum so much, Thank you so much for your help and kindness Original Comment Report... |

My mother is currently under assessment on the Reed Ward. It is a horrible and scary time for the family but the level of care and dedication shown by the wonderful staff makes it so much easier.
The ward is clean, patients have their own private rooms but there are lots of different communal rooms that they can be in during the day. They are able to take part in activities and have their nails painted. I even attended a party for the Hammerton Court residents last Saturday where there was live music and food. It was heart warming to see the residents still treated as people rather than just patients.
I feel so lucky that, at this horrible time, with this horrible disease, my mum has ended up somewhere so nice.
They are definitely deserving of the five star reviews Original Comment Report... |
