Oct 26 2015 My mother who has dementia was moved to Abundant Grace Nursing Home in April 2015 following an acute deterioration in her physical health which meant she could no longer be managed at home. At the same time my father also became ill and physically infirm, he moved into Abundant Grace nursing home for respite care until he was strong enough to return home. Having resided there for just over 5 weeks and from visiting my mum every day since then, my father is more than happy to leave my mum somewhere he feels that she is cared for and gets the attention she needs. I visit weekly and nothing is too much trouble for everyone on the first floor, if I have a query it is answered quickly and efficiently. My thanks go out to the team.
