Sep 14 2021 My father moved into Hollybank House in September 2020. As this was during the pandemic we were not allowed to visit so had not idea what the staff were like. We could check out pictures of the facilities but from our experience it is the staff who are key to a happy and contented stay. After a brief stay in hospital he was badly in need of some proper care which he certainly got from all of the staff at Hollybank House. Without exception they have been like a family to Dad. Sadly he passed away in September this year and the care and support provided not only to Dad but to our family when visiting was exceptional. He was treated not only with dignity but also with love and personal care and we could not have asked for anything more. If you are considering this home for your loved one then do not hesitate. The fact that most staff have been there many years speaks for itself. We have told the manager that if any relative wishes to speak to a family member we are happy to give our details for that additional assurance.
