Stansfield Hall Care Home

I cannot speak highly enough of stansfield hall care home. It has the most wonderful caring staff who have looked after my Dad for nearly two years. It has a very homely atmosphere with dedicated carers who go above and beyond for their residents. My dad was an urgent admission and we did not have a choice of which home he went to, but I can honestly say how very lucky we are that he was sent to this one. I would not hesitate to recommend it, it is wonderful ??

I have had two relatives in this home over the last four years. We can not fault this home at all. Yes it is a very old building that is in the process of being renovated but the communal areas are very relaxed, clean and homely. Its the little attention to detail that makes this home warming.I seen this home mamy years ago and it has changed so much over the years. The manager has turned this home around. She leads a very good team and is very approachable. She is caring and always looking to make things better than they already are. She went above and beyond for my great aunt and uncle. The deputy manager is very approachable too. This lady is always available if needed and goes above and beyond. Infact we could not fault the staff at all. All the senior carers were amazing and the floor carers where exceptional. A credit to the home. Always smiling and always doing something with the residents. The home smells lovely too and always very clean. What touched my cousin and i the most was the nursery children that go to visit the home and do crafts and sing a longs my aunt loved this and would always talk about the children going to see her. There is childrens art work on the walls with photos this is a wonderful touch. The home makes home made delicious food daily and when ever we visited the cooks would invite us to stay. Puddings are to die for!!! If you are looking for a home for your loved ones this is it. It is a must see. My dad has recently had to go into a Care home and i couldn't be happier with this choice. The home itself is lovely, bright and clean. The staff are all lovely and seem genuinely caring with the residents. The home manager is very helpful and understanding and seems very professional in their role. I had the opportunity to have my lunch there one day and it was very nice, tasty and fresh. When a relative goes into a home you worry that everything is ok when you aren't there and i know i can relax knowing he is being looked after. The home provides entertainment for the residents and there ia always nice music playing in the dining room. So happy with this choice.
