Jan 28 2014 Although Mum has only been about 6 weeks in Marlborough Court the difference in her well-being, health and personality has changed dramatically for the better. The Staff are wonderful and always have a smile and hug for the Residents, l could not be any more relieved to know that my Mum is living in a healthy and safe environment. The Staff always have time for any queries that l have and let me know if there is any issues l need to be aware of. After a long stressful battle to get more help for Mum when she was living in Sheltered Housing all concerns that l may not be doing the right thing for her to move into a Dementia Home have disappeared. Hand on heart l know that l have done the best thing for Mum as when l visit her l can see her demeanour is of a content and happy person, we laugh together again which is something that had not happened for quite some time. Looking back since Mum started to become ill it became a roller coaster of emotions, finally the guilt of trying to get Mum in a more suitable accommodation became horrendous but since Marlborough Court came into the equation that feeling has dispelled knowing she is with the best people.
