Sep 21 2013 When I went to look round I knew this was the right place for mum. The staff are wonderfully helpful and kind. They deal with any issues in a caring, constructive way and they demonstrate genuine affection for the residents. The rooms are studio apartments with a large en-suite shower room and a good view of the garden. There's plenty of room for mum's own TV, sofa and other furniture and people are encouraged to personalise it with pictures on the walls so mum has her own space with familiar things around her. There's a programme of activities which residents can join in, or not, as they wish. Visitors are welcome at any time. I feel a lot more relaxed now I know mum is safe and cared for. I haven't stayed for mealtimes or activities but mum seems happy with them.
