Fantastic service. The optician was very thorough, testing my vision and eye health in the greatest detail. I have visited other well-known high street opticians, and always received good service, but was particularly impressed by the service I got here. The optician was very kind and attentive, going the extra mile to find out the cause of my headaches, eliminating any possible problem with my eye health or glasses, and asking all the right questions. They seemed very skilled and knowledgeable, and gave me good advice. Reply from Boots-York - Coney St Wed, 18 Jan 2017 14:06:16 Z Thank you for sharing your great feedback and comments. |

Went into Boots to get prescriptions and later a pair of glasses. The eye checking process was very nice, and the initial customier services were good. I delayed for a week to finally get my glasses because I was having my own request on prescriptions, and the other doctor very friendly helped me sorted it out. All good here. But the first pair of glasses made came out to have problems, which, I noticed when I had a look at my prescription, which was apparently a mistake made by the shop. Waited for another week to get my glasses. This time it was another customer assistant that I did not talk to before. The assistant was apparently not aware of my case and I immediately noticed how unfriendly and impatient they were. I asked for a copy of the new prescription and then when the assistant was making it at the counter I saw them making weird faces to complain something apparently on me and their colleague was posing funny faces immediately. This was such an annoying experience to me and for the first time I was very very disappointed with the service at Boots. What I wanted to say is that the eye test itself is professional, and I was happy with the new glasses themselves. However some certain customer assistants, who are not aware of your different situation, might have assorted attitudes and sometimes judgments on you, which I find extremely offensive and unprofessional. A big company it is, the assistants should follow a more consistent and professional attitude to match with their wonderful opticians. |
