Needed an eye test and as I had been having a specific problem decided to visit an established local optician rather than one of those quick in and quick out where you are given a free eye test but expected to purchase glasses. The initial examination took around 90 minutes and as the optician had some concerns I was asked to return the following day for a test to be re-taken, a further one hour. The optician was finally satisfied with the outcomes although they referred me to my doctor just so that the doctor could check there was not an underlying problem. It was my first visit to an optician in years where I was told my glasses were the correct strength so there was no need to replace them. Refreshing indeed! A marvellous service and I am already recommending them to friends and family.
