The staff at this pharmacy take the time to check that we are getting the right drugs. They make sure we understand the dosage. When one of the drugs became hard to get they made an extra effort to find stocks. Recently when the doctor prescribed a drug needing a syringe but failed to proscribe the syringe, the member of staff added the syringe to the order. Each time I go there I get a friendly welcome, and asked how my wife is getting on. They seem to genuinely care about their customers. I just phoned about a none proscription item which they didn't have in stock but they offered to order the item so that they would have it by the same evening when I usually visit to collect proscriptions. The opening until 6:15pm helps with collecting drugs after work. Even when I arrived after the official closing time they were still happy to serve me. |

I'm new to the area and wanted a prescription filled...
I met the pharmacist and owner.
It was a slack time of the day, he had just opened.
He had time for me to discuss my problems at length and was happy to do so.
With the odd interruption we talked for well over an hour!
The relief I felt as he explained aspects of my condition was palpable.
You can't do this sort of thing in a ten minute consultation with your GP.
He really cared and enjoyed helping me.
Best pharmacy experience ever, and I'm 61 now.
I've met another member of staff there too.
She was very good also.
I've had several discussions with her and it is obvious that she cares too.
The knowledge exhibited by these two members of staff was impressive.
This is a proper little local pharmacy. It is not full of people who are just there to make a living wage and operate a little like drones as I've seen in the chain pharmacies so often. In a sense it is like the 'Good old days, old-fashioned pharmacy' that my Mother told me about, but thoroughly modern at the same time.
This pharmacy is good in other ways too:
- Clean & tidy.
- Not cluttered with point-of-sale marketing (I applaud this especially).
- Somewhere to sit that is comfortable.
- A good atmosphere.
- Efficient service.
I live nearby and they will have all my business from now on.
Give them your support, they deserve to succeed and you will get the best service too. (I have no profit motive for saying this, I'm just a very satisfied customer.)
It turns out that the last pharmacy I visited (Staplegrove in Taunton) is part of the same organisation so it seems they are good at it as I gave that one a good review too. |

As a pharmacy goes this is the best in the county, nothing is too much trouble, the advice is sound and the staff exemplary in both attitude and service to the community.
If you are stuck for a GP, please come to this pharmacy as a stop gap, you will not be disappointed.
If you need a Pharmacy, this would be my first stop. |
