I am really posting this out with a hope the manager of this pharmacy or anyone who is regulating this place to contact me. What an awful pharmacy to be with since the staff has changed. Since Rikki the pharmacist who has left a year boots pharmacy this place has nothing to be called a pharmacy!!! My poor nan who is 83y old and doesn’t speak any English has to battle every single month for her meds to be done in time or dispense to her at all. Every single month they are either missing; either not given correctly; either not done in time as the DR issue them. She has even been admitted to AE due to the neglect service of not getting her medication on time. I had enough at this point and I would like to raise a formal Complaint to the right department please. Regards |

I went to the store at 10am on a Saturday expecting it to be fairly busy, but I spoke to a pharmacist within 2 minutes which was obviously good, since I was in a lot of pain. I was suffering with an awful tooth/jaw ache, and wasn't too sure if a pharmacist would be able to help with something that was a lot more dental related. I had called the NHS helpline, but ended up going to the pharmacist as the NHS helpline was very busy. However the pharmacist was able to recommend the best painkillers and other advice. The painkillers they recommended worked wonders, so clearly the pharmacist knows their stuff. The pharmacist also suggested I ring back the NHS helpline since I had a swelling around my face - which I'm glad they did as I managed to get an emergency appointment on the same day, despite being a bank holiday weekend. The pharmacist I spoke to was also very friendly and reassuring and sympathetic which also helped. All in all, I am very, very impressed with the level of service and knowledge of the pharmacists here. |
