With a commitment to community healthcare we have steadily grown to 63 pharmacies, still concentrated in South Yorkshire with over 600 trained staff including over 80 pharmacists, 9 of who are clinical pharmacists. We have had an internet presence since 1998.
In recognition of our commitment to employee development and ultimately customer service we were the first independent pharmacy in the UK to be awarded the 'Investor in People' (IIP) standard in 1993. In 1994 our training programme for Pharmacist Assistants achieved 'National Training Award' recognition. We are current holders of ISO 9001: 2008, having initially achieved the ISO Standard in 2001.
Our ongoing commitment to staff development ensures the Weldricks team are able to provide exceptional healthcare advice and service both to our local and online communities. While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally. When they do we commit to communicate with our customer, do our best to put the problem right, then identify the cause of the error and learn from it.
Listing over 8,000 health and beauty products and prescription medicines, it is our aim to meet your needs in a professional manner.
Our on-line service is supervised by fully qualified pharmacists. All medicine sales are authorised and checked before being despatched to you. If necesssary we may contact you to ask further questions and ensure that the medicine is suitable for you. Our on-line customer service team are available to give professional healthcare advice in a confidential environment either by email or telephone.

After having been to Boots under the Minor Aliments Scheme for my daughters Hay fever and being turned away stating they are not part of the scheme, I was recommend by our doctors to use our local Weldricks. I explained the issue of having to supply prescribed medication to satisfy the policy at the school my daughter goes to and how we had already been sent from pillar to post. I was greeted by one particular pharmacist, who was very understanding and professional. She attended to my issue promptly issued my daughters medication for Hay fever. This was a much welcomed service from this pharmacist and Weldricks. My family will defiantly be using our local Weldricks again and the only reason we went to Boots, was because it was after 1800. Never again! Thank you to this pharmacist and Weldricks. I am constantly amazed as to how helpful friendly and supportive the staff at this Kirk Sandall shop are. Nothing seems too much trouble and they always brighten my day; but perhaps (?) more importantly, they always deliver the products and services I require with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of efficiency. I had travelled without my medication and the staff at the pharmacy went above and beyond to help me get an emergency prescription from my own GP surgery 200 miles away.
It was 2 minutes to closing time and they got the on line prescription through after 2 hours of trying.
They were excellent.
Whilst I was in the shop I witnessed further outstanding customer care - knowledge of issues, advice given, knowledge of their patients.
Would thoroughly recommend them
