I was unfortunate enough to collect my wife's prescription from this Chemist,
The prescription had been left by my wife, who was told come back in 1 hour and it would be ready for collection; well some 90 minutes later I arrived at the Chemist, after a wait for some 10 minutes I was served. I asked for my wife's prescription, after a wait of another 8 minutes the assistant reappeared and said, it only came over from the surgery today and it's not ready, I said that was not the prescription I was looking for, but the one from the dentist, that had been left in nearly 100 minutes ago, the assistant then gave me a hard time for not clarifying that the prescription was from the dentist, I replied in turn that a prescription was a prescription and saw no difference, the Chemist then jumped into the conversation saying it was not their fault, there was 200 prescription to be done, I suggested that perhaps if they could not support the demand than perhaps they should employ more staff. Interestingly - the prescription was suddenly found, now 90 minutes after it had been left, still not made up for dispensing! I was offered the choice of taking the prescription elsewhere or having made up there and then, I select the later! By this time there was an even bigger queue in the Chemist. Once upon a time this chemist shop was a delight to use, but since it's take over the service has become less than satisfactory, so much I will not use them again. |
