We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Having given 2 weeks notice for repeat prescriptions my husband went to collect for me today and was told that the main item on there was not available as they had none in stock. Regularly have to go back to complete my request. I appreciate that they are busy, but the continual hassles make for a poor experience. Seriously thinking of changing, and dread to think what it is like for people who don't have a car or someone who can go for them.

This must be the worst pharmacy in Carlisle. My housebound mother is supposed to have weekly medication delivered and they mess it up every time. They take forever to answer the phone and if you go in they are always short of something in the prescription so need to go back. Other places are equally busy and short staffed but don’t have the total lack of organisation and common sense of this place. Even my doctor said not to use them!

Although extremely busy at peak times, I recommend this pharmacy. The staff are friendly and work hard to provide an efficient service. The pharmacist is approachable and knowledgable. I rarely use any other. Original Comment Report...
