This Well Pharmacy has you waste 30 minutes plus waiting, while you hear everyone grumbling about there wait and similar stories of this and that not ready, only to find your own prescription is not all there, half of one tablet is supposedly not in stock, another is the same, so they ask you to call in the next day, but you give them an day extra and still not in!
On previous occasion it took 2 weeks too suddenly arrive after writing and having a supposed investigation which suggested that Well are not at fault.
This, despite other customers, telling us that their own medical practice's (not Fusehill) also saw problems here at the Fusehill Well Pharmacy !!!
We have written twice and advised them of the issues.
But in my opinion, Well Pharmacies are not fit for purpose if this is the best they can do - or is it all our Doctors conspiring against Well?? |

Prescription was sent to them from my surgery as I was unable to walk far and that was the nearest pharmacy for collection. Talked to GP on the phone and said he would send it electronically so that I could pick it up in about 30mins. Eventually i sent in a friend to collect it and he was told there was nothing in their system. I phoned the pharmacy and they said the it was not in the system. When I told them the GP said it would be available for collection in about 30mins the receptionist started to blame the GP saying he should not tell them when a prescription is available. I told them I had phoned the surgery again and they said it had been sent electronically a few hours before. So the receptionist checked again and said 'oh it just arrivied 5 minutes ago...' What makes it really sad is that it happened in a pharmacy where looking after sick people who rely on you would be top priority instead of arguing with them and blaming fellow colleagues! Not even in a 3rd world country would this pharmacy service be tolerated! When asked if they were open till 6pm they replied 'unfortunately yes'...no comment |

I've used this pharmacy for some 15 months and over the past month, receiving a prescription from the attached surgery every week, but for the past four or five weeks, there's always been a delay - topped off last week with an excruciating 105 minute delay from when I first asked it if was ready. People came and went, after relatively long waits themselves, before I stood in queue again, and after standing for about 20 minutes at the counter, I was told that it still wasn't ready.
I hate complaining, but I did. I told them it was rubbish and they needed to get it done straight away. It was approaching closing time (around 5:30pm) and I felt they were going to fob me off until the next day. It only took ten minutes from then - and one of the prescriptions wasn't complete. I was asked to return the next day and I said I wouldn't.
Prior to the past month or so, the service has been excellent - which is the only reason I'm marking the place with four stars. At the moment, it's shambolic and chaotic. If last week had been my only experience, it would get one star and I wouldn't return.
If there are staffing problems, well they need to sort this out. It was explained that people were ill and another had left, but you have to be able to cover things like this. You're not a small company.
You're soon going to have more staff ill or quitting if this continues. It's unfair that the inadequacies of the company are causing such increased stress for staff.
I hope things improve rapidly. |
