I rang Rowlands pharmacy in Kendal to ask some advice about my sons eye condition. They were very helpful and told me to just pop in and they would take a look (saving on a doctors appointment). As i was going to Asda shopping i decided to go the pharmacy in Asda. The pharmacist in there did not even come from behind the the secondary counter thing and said for me to take him to a doctor. Today I went into asda pharmacy to get a prescription for my son, which had 2 items on it.
Codeine Phosphate
buscopan
I was told we don't have any Buscopan, and they couldn't do 1 item on the prescription and not the other. Went to another chemist, again no buscopan. So had to drive into town and did get into Boots as they were closing. The man who served me said that Buscopan was available on the shop floor, and he was sure asda would have some. I paid the presciption price for the codeine and the shop price for the Buscopan.
On my way home I called into asda and there was 2 full lines of Buscopan!!!!!
Why wasn't I told there would be some on the medicine isle and to go and get a pack and pay for that and the codeine on prescription.
I felt very let down by the service I have received today. Original Comment Report...
