I went to the pharmacy at 8:30 am in the morning the pharmacy didn’t open until 9:00am so was happy to wait cause I needed to pick up a prescription an inhaler for my son which was send the previous day from church street practice. The customer service agent asked me the name of my son and searched on the computer and couldn’t find it so had to write on paper and go and search for it they later found the prescription and came back to me and said ‘yes we have found the prescription but we can’t give it to you because the lady who just walked out she is the only one who can give them so you have to come back within half an hour/ hour’ I was very disappointed by these the lady that she was referring to had just gone out to go get drinks cause I had overheard a conversation of them asking if there was any drinks and was told no so she said she is going to go and pick them up from the shop bearing in mind the store just had opened at 9:00 am and I was the first customer on there if these is the lead pharmacist why could you not request the others to go and get the drinks cause you know if you are not there the customers may not be able to access the service .please plan yourself if you are opening at 9:00 please ensure you have everything you need to provide the service but to tell customers who have waited to come back it is very poor service you may not see it these way but that is someone petrol wasted the time that they waited they never going to get that back please be considerate of the customers. |

Have been going here for some time now and looking to move, repeat prescriptions sent on time every two months, I leave it for a few days, still end up waiting for ages.
I know of many Pharmacies that are far busier than this one and they have no issues at all. I just think the staff in the dispensary are poor and have no intention of speeding things up, some far too busy chatting.
This is what happens when you go to a chain, I would rather stick to an independent, which I will be now looking for in the area.
The other thing I don't like is my name and address to be asked out loud. This is a clear breach of GDPR rules, stated below. I will be reporting this to the relevant authorities.
Don’t call out patients’ addresses or ask them to give their addresses when other patients or customers could hear. If it is necessary to call out their names, ask them to confirm their addresses in a location where they cannot be overheard. |

I visit this pharmacy for medicine about every six weeks that I am on for life.
I can only speak from my own experience and I personally have no complaints about the service I receive.
The Staff are always friendly (they are also very busy which has to be taken into account for the waiting time) and pleasant.
I will continue to ask for my prescription to be sent here in the future as I have no complaints whatsoever.
Thank you. Reply from LloydsPharmacy Mon, 23 Sep 2019 13:44:24 +0100 Hi Dianna Thank you for taking the time to post your review.
