Was lied to. Told my prescription wasn’t sent by my doctor when it had been sent at noon the previous day. Told her ok fine just give me the number from the spine and il go to boots for them. Oh no we found it and we’ll do it right now. Why? Because she had lied! She did get the prescription the day prior and she downloaded it and printed it but didn’t fill It. Just tossed it in a pile with others not filled. So she couldn’t send it back To the spine! Then she told me it’s my doctors fault he lied to me about when he sends the script! If that was true she wouldn’t have had it printed off from The day prior. When reported to your customer service team some big fat guy lied and said he’s the manager and he was stood there the whole time and I’m twisting the truth and he banned me from The pharmacy. They lie and I report It and I’m banned. What a pathetic joke. These people have no nhs training or patient communication training. Their just pizza makers and loaders that got to work in the pharmacy. Liars! Can’t be trusted. |

Even during these hard times this pharmacy always has time to speak and listen to any concerns I may have regarding my medications, I have a certain medication that some brands give me a bad reaction so have to be careful when ordering, the pharmacist always works with me to find the best option to suit me. Most of the time they will have all my items 8 different medications, and some times they will need to order however it is always there for the very next day. The only problem ATM is the queue outside to get instore, some staff on the door will allow you to bypass this if you are just going to pharmacist but some feel it is best to make you queue with the people who are there to shop. This however is not the fault of the pharmacist direct. Asda should ensure all patients who require to simply collect prescriptions from the pharmacy can by pass the long queue outside waiting to get in to shop, all staff on the door should work from the same page and rules. It is not good waiting 30-40 minutes just to collect medication. |

Visited with my private prescription on Sunday. My prescription allows for 6 dispensing repeats and I had already had five, so there was one repeat left. Was told they were out of stock but I could call back and collect my medication the next day. I did this but they then told me that my prescription was out of date, and they could not dispense my medication.
I have since discovered that private repeat prescriptions do not go out of date. Here is the info from the NHS...
Repeat prescriptions allow the same prescription to be dispensed more than once. A repeat prescription must be dispensed for the first time within six months of the date on the prescription.
After this, the repeat prescription can continue to be valid beyond six months, according to the directions on the prescription.
Asda, if you messed up by not getting my prescription medication for me, it would have been better to be honest with me, rather than tell me that my prescription was out of date.
Anyway, it's your loss, as I went to another pharmacy who were happy to dispense. I won't be using your pharmacy again. We will ensure the locum and store team know the correct process. Please accept our apologies for this, and thanks for bringing it to our attention. |
