They take so long to get your medication ready. Only pharmacy were iv been that iv waited over an hour an once just over half an hour. There is a friendly lovely lady to speak to named gwyneth i think. One pharmacist gave me one meds but i had to tell him theres another missing hence the long wait. Even though they had my script for week earlier they should be bagged an ready for collection like any other pharmacys. Apart from that lady i mentioned they aint very sociable either i havent been back since would rather travel longer poor service an long waiting |

I was prescribed some antibiotics for a medical procedure in a few weeks time. I then developed a UTI & my GP told me to start the ones I had right away & he’d prescribe some more for my medical procedure. 5 days into my course they weren’t working so my GP prescribed a different antibiotic. A friend went to collect my prescriptions & was told by Natalie the pharmacist he couldn’t have them as I already have antibiotics. He explained what they were for & why I needed both & she wouldn’t budge. Eventually he was allowed to have one lot. I phoned the pharmacy & explained it all to her in detail & she wouldn’t back down. She said well if you’re immune to the first ones I’m not giving them to you anyway! I said I still take those ones, they just sometimes don’t work for certain infections. I still need the other ones for my medical procedure. I said my medical team do know what they’re doing. She refused. I don’t need the hassle of another trip to Tesco or having to involve my GP! I don’t mind pharmacists flagging up something that may be a problem but when they have a clear explanation it’s just not acceptable to refuse to hand over a patients medication. What a load of hassle & more to come! The pharmacy assistants have always been good but this isn’t the first time the pharmacist has refused my medication. |
