There is just one member of staff who lets the whole place down and unfortunately they are front line customer facing staff. I have been a customer for years and have witnessed their abrasive, rude attitude with many different customers and have now been subject to it myself. I don't appreciate being spoken to like I am a child (when I don't know the background procedures and workings of a pharmacy- why would I)?? So rude and unhelpful it's unbelievable. I'd be sacked in my role if I behaved that way to visitors/customers. I usually avoid any confrontation when I go in there and deal with this member of staff. In fact I walk on egg shells and try extra hard to be overly nice (as quite frankly I don't need the hassle), whereas I should have said something sooner and should have changed pharmacy sooner. Just a walk round the corner I found a lovely pleasant pharmacists who was so pro-active I was stunned at the difference and am kicking myself for waiting so long to make the change! I am already feeling more relaxed about next months order and collection. Again I re-iterate this is only one member of staff and I have always found all the others to be friendly and helpful, especially when I have made a mistake and have needed their urgent assistance. When I did speak out, it was interesting to see the other staff members reaction. If you encounter this when visiting there please speak out as it might just mean things change for all concerned, staff and customers, and that can only be a good thing!
