Absolutely awful, had my prescription for a week, urgently needed and it was closed due to staff shortages. Said to knock if urgent but couldn't do prescription anyway. Took somewhere else and they hadn't freed the prescription to be done else where. Tried phoning and didn't pick up, tried a good ten times more and phone was off the hook. I to drive all the way back to them and bang on the door to get them to open it to ask for them to return to NHS Spine so I could collect elsewhere. Rude, unhelpful and they have my number so could have let me know this was going to be a problem. Avoid at all costs |

Recently I’ve had many issues with Northampton park avenue store connected to my surgery. Prescriptions not always prepared even days after the due date, no text messages anymore when they are actually ready and staff rarely picking up the phone to ask if it’s ready! I walked all the way down there around 1pm on Thursday and the doors were locked with no explanation on the door. Friday I went again and they had closed up over an hour early but nothing was stated on their website. Saturday I tried once again and it’s closed up again with no explanation on the door as to why it’s not open from 9am as stated on the door and website? All in all a very disappointing service and wasting five days walking back and forth while my prescription still sits in there! I feel very let down by your service here and lack of updates, what used to be a great little chemist is now a laughing stock with the local community with people regularly slating it all over social media. I emailed their head office and basically just got fobbed off, nothing has changed and I’ve been five times now in total and my prescription is sitting sitting in there, it’s a good job it’s not a life or death situation! Just tried calling four times and no one is picking up the phone so I’m guessing it’s closed yet again? Very shoddy service so I have now contacted my surgery to move my prescription to a chemist that actually opens for its customers |
