Lloyds Pharmacy has been replaced by Wotton Family Pharmacy from Monday 14th August 2023. Lloyds had a very bad reputation. The new owners have two other local pharmacies with good reputations, so, things are looking up |

I spoke to todays pharmacist by phone about my elderly mother (90) and she gave excellent advice. I went to the branch, bought the recommended products and spoke again to the pharmacist who had helped me. Mother now seems to be much better and this has probably saved a 111 call and/or an OOHS doctor. Thank you Lloyds. |

As this is my local pharmacy unfortunately I have to visit it often
It has never been well run but the excuse about being under staffed wears a little thin over the years
Today they out did themselves.I was around 6th in the queue when I arrived and had to wait around 20 minutes to get to the front of the queue- by the time I left the queue was much longer.
One person only was serving customers whilst 5 were in the pharmacy section,one of which was just moving boxes around the whole time I was there.I suggested(politely) to the member of staff serving it would be a good idea to get someone else serving from the back,business,and this is a business, is about the customer afterall.This provoked a rather angry response from one of the staff which frankly was uncalled for
.Of those in front of me 2 had to come back because their medication was unready,a very common scenario here and this was my own second attempt.Further one poor old lady had similarly had to queue for 20 minutes just to buy a product from the shop,by the end she was unable to stand any longer!
If this was a one off experience I`d ignore it but unfortunately it was just a bit worse than usual.I should add I am not prone to wasting my time writing reviews but on this occasion I feel compelled !!
