I am more used to registering complaints about standards of Customer Service nowadays, length of time waiting for my call to be answered etc etc.it therefore gives me the greatest pleasure imaginable to be able to tell people about the excellent standards of care and consideration of our local Cohen Chemist personnel have given to us. My husband and I have been patients at the Medical Centre for a few years now and popped into Cohen's Pharmacy to collect our prescriptions in person. The staff were always brilliant, friendly, courteous and efficient. Recently however we seem to have aged 50 years overnight and we are finding even everyday tasks more difficult. To complicate matters further changes were made to our GP's IT system and I had extreme difficulty doing things on line, eventually I abandoned even trying. I started to post repeat prescription requests as getting to the surgery was often a struggle and I was delighted to learn that Cohen's had a delivery service so we didn't even need to go to collect the prescription in person. The other day I realised that I had cut it fine to request a repeat prescription for some essential medication so I phoned Cohen's for advice. I was delighted when the young lady on the phone was able to take the details by phone and request the tablets from our GP and even arrange delivery all in the one call. I couldn't thank her enough, it was a weight off my mind. Cohen's even send me a text message with a two hour time slot which means that we don't have to wait in all day when we have an opportunity to go out. If necessary, I can phone and they can actually tell me more or less to the nearest half hour when the gentleman will deliver the prescription. The gentleman who delivers the medication is a real gentleman too, delivers to the door and he is always good humoured and cheerful which is an added bonus. I can't praise the staff at Cohen's highly enough, they have been so kind and helpful and go to great lengths to make our lives as easy as possible, they're more like family and friends than strangers but at the same time they are always professional and knowledgeable about everything to do with medication. They make such a difference to our lives, we are so lucky to have them.

I have known this pharmacy for many years and the staff have always been helpful and treated me with respect. They do their level best to meet my repeat prescription needs and whilst they do not always carry sufficient stock of my BP control drug they normally have it within 24 hours. In this fast changing and somewhat impersonal and anonymous world it is a pleasure to know that their are good and caring people still. :-)
