Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Not happy with this service at all. Have tried using the service for repeat prescriptions, please dont bother unless you are prepared to wait 7 days, I called on the 6th day and was told to come back in the afternoon as my prescription was in the blue box? I said I would wait, one if the staff opened a box and there was my medication ready boxed and bagged with my name on which was handed to me and took less than a minute. The staff are rude, it feels like you shouldn't be there and make you feel you are putting on them massively. They operate a one in one out policy however I have witnessed elderly people standing outside in the freezing cold and rain for 45 minutes. The cleanliness needs addressing, there are still christmas decorations stuck on the windows so obviously they have not been sanitised. The flooring is a lot to be desired, its dirty dusty and with the on going virus I find this totally unacceptable.
