Gracewell of Hove

This home provided an outstanding level of end of life care for my mother. My mother was admitted here with terminal cancer which was very complex and we are so happy that she lived out her last few months in the care of such professional and capable people. The nursing staff ensured she was kept pain free and comfortable at all times which was a big deal for us. The patience, care and compassion of the whole team astounded us, we were looked after and cared for as a whole family unit rather than just my mum as the patient and we really appreciated it. The team always went above and beyond to make sure we were all ok, we were provided with a pull out bed for the night, meals and showers to enable us to spend every minute with mum at the end of her life. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. As mum began to decline and was bedbound they even managed to keep her feeling a part of the home by bringing the entertainers and animals up to her room to visit her which helped take her mind of her illness. We cant express our thanks enough for all you did for mum and our family. Thank you.

The home provides an outstanding level of care for my aunt and I am very grateful to all the staff that look after her so wonderfully in my absence. I live out of town but visit regularly and am always surprised at how happy and relaxed she is. I know that I have left my dear aunt in the very best capable hands.

My father in law has lived at Gracewell of Hove for over 6 years and we couldn't have wished for a better place for him to see out his golden years. The home is very comfortable and well looked after, but the shining stars of this home are the staff who are outstanding. Every person here is genuinely caring and seem to enjoy their jobs and my family has made some strong friendships with them over the years. Cannot recommend highly enough!
