Apr 25 2018 We looked at several homes in the area for my mother who suffers from dementia. The initial phone call to Courtlands said it all. The Manager spoke in a manner which made me know that this could be the place where I would wish my mother to live. We were not disappointed on our visit and were lucky enough to be in a position to wait for a room to become available. The transition to Courtlands from another home went well and my mother has been there since July 2016. The building is clean and is constantly being refurbished. The staff are second to none. The management run a tight team. The staff are happy and this transfers down to the residents. There are always plenty of activities. The food is very good. They are all very caring. We couldn't recommend this highly enough and hope that my mother will be able to remain there for the rest of her life.

When the family visit, we are always made most welcome and feel part of a family and can get involvoled with activities and sing songs if we wish or just sit with mum in one of the lounges or dining room and if the weather permits walk and sit in the lovely gardens. I rate Courtlands very highly. B.S
