My step dad has been here for over 12 months and I can not praise the staff for all the personal care they have given. One of the biggest things they have done for him is manage his diabetice. Prior to being here the was in and out of hospital with extremely high sugar levels and the hospitals were unable to manage it to the point we nearly lost him twice. The staff are friendly and caring to my step dad and also his visitors. It’s always immaculately clean, tidy and smells fresh. I could not recommend the nursing home more |

My parent was admitted to Marian House in late 2017 after 8 weeks in hospital following a fall at a previous care home, they were unable to return there as the level of care required could not be provided.Having had experience earlier that year in looking for a care home I knew what I would be happy with and as I was shown around Marian House I knew it was the right place.
The home is kept very clean with no unpleasant smells. The residents are well looked after. The staff are kind, caring, friendly and approachable. The food I have seen served is very good. The surroundings are nice and various activities are arranged for those residents who are able to take part.
They have and continue to do whatever they can to give my parent a good quality of life despite the challenges faced.
I have peace of mind knowing that my parent is a resident there. |

My brother is now in his 4th year at Marian House.Whilst his overall health has deteriorated due to his underlying problems his overall level of care has been very good.
This level of care for his "well being" has been exemplary, the whole team look to his welfare and best interests. He has always a good word to say about everyone
My brother can be very stubborn and difficult at times and the staff cope very well in this regards |
