Ivybank House

Our mother has lived at Ivybank House for 6 years, and during this time we have been extremely satisfied with the level of care she received. Staff at all levels treat the residents with respect, and are aware of each individual's specific personality traits, which ensures that residents access the variety of activities on offer in a way which is comfortable for them. Our family has always been kept informed of any slight change in mum's health, and the staff arrange for the GP to visit when necessary. We visit at various times/days, and on occasion have heard staff speaking to mum as we are approaching her room, and they are always very kind and respectful in the way they talk to her - we could not ask for anything better. The facilities are of a high standard, and are well maintained, both inside and out. Families are made welcome when joining residents for a meal or partaking in the activities on offer. As with any organisation, there are staff changes from time to time, however the caring ethos has been a constant factor thoughout mum's residence. As a family, we feel extremely fortunate for mum to be living in such a comfortable and safe home.
