The staff at meadow bank cared for my grandmother for over 5 years.I cant praise them enough. She was treated by the carers as if she were family. There care in the last days of her life was second to none.Thank you to all the carers on the nursing floor your kindness and love made all the difference. |

I have only been a resident for a short space of time on the whole I am very happy. However I do have some reservations.
1. I learnt early in my career that you should never make a promise if you could not fulfill it. Some staff would do well to remember this. I have been promised minor things but I am still waiting for them to happen.
2. Assumptions are made about people on face value. I can present one view but underneath be in turmoil , upset, or angry.
3. Please teach your staff to judge people better and in many cases to believe what they say. Listening is very useful.
4. Read notes and care plans to find out.
5. Tone of voice is important.
6. A resident being able to communicate and think should not condem them!
