My brother had been using Mere Hall View and Crawford Street for a number of years to receive his respite care. Although there were no (major) issues with either of these places, they seemed a little dark, dated and archaic, and more akin to the environment of a nursing home. I was told about Max Potential by a social worker, who couldn't speak highly enough about the place, so I decided to take my brother for the visit. What an outstanding service these guys offer. They have a brand new fully kitted out daycare centre, which is decorated to a very high and modern taste. The bedroom are like those in a posh hotel rather than a hospital setting you get in many other facilities. The management and staff are fabulous. They immediately made us feel very welcome, helped my brother to settle in during what could be a difficult period of transition, and he came home singing the praises of the facility and all of their staff. My brother now refuses to go elsewhere for his respite, and Max Potential also give him FREE use of their day care services when he is in respite, which has meant he was able to take park in the socially enriching group activities while he was there. He has made friends there and asks me every day " When can I go back to Max Potential"
