Country Lodge Nursing Home is a privately run care home for older residents whose needs include medical, physical, terminal illness, respite and convalescence care. The home has a team of highly qualified, experienced nursing and care staff who, together with the auxiliary staff, are committed to providing the best possible care for their residents.
Country Lodge has a warm and happy atmosphere and feels like a &home from home&. With a delightful garden and stunning views over the South Downs and Sussex countryside, the philosophy is to give residents the best possible quality of life while promoting their independence, privacy and dignity.
All bedrooms are charmingly decorated to a high standard and have electric profiling beds, a nurse call system, a flat screen television and telephone. Residents are encouraged to bring in their own furniture if they wish as well as personal effects.
Delicious home cooked and often home grown food, using only the best ingredients, is offered with varied daily menus for residents to choose from.
Country Lodge is also accredited with the Investor in People Award representing excellent and regular training.

Apr 4 2017 My mother has been at this home for about two years. And although myself and relatives and of course my mother, (at times) knew she could not stay at her previous home, where she had been for 64years,with me (her son). So I searched around for a nursing home and took into account, the area/ccc report/price/the reviews etc And i can honestly say that from what I have seen, and heard from doing so that it would be hard to find a home that beats this one, for the homely feeling you get from the minute you come in the front door, not to mention other reasons. I know my mother is overall, happy with being at this home as she never complains not that she would. The staff are at times very busy, but when they can, will help with what is needed. The food is very good and as I have eaten there myself would do so again.

On my numerous visits they were always so friendly and helpful, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
