May 12 2016 I've just been to a breakfast hosted by Etheldred House Care Centre to bring together people from the local care & support community to promote networking opportunities. This occasion helped the exchange of ideas and experience between council, voluntary and third sector workers in order to make the most use of limited resources and work towards a more integrated support structure for the most vulnerable in our communities; - A big thank you to the manager and staff of Etheldred House and to Besom for inviting me!
Original Comment Report...Etheldred House Care CentreBy: Anonymous Rating:.. Dec 23 2015 My Father had Alzheimers and Dementia and spent the last year and a half here. His health improved significantly with the good care that he got. In the final months he required increasing care and he got that. The staff are very hard working and good people whom one is more than happy to trust. The food is also of a high standard. After spending much time looking at care homes, and trying one or two, it was an almighty relief to bring Dad to Etheldred. My Mother has just moved in for respite care following a period in hospital. Once again great to have her properly cared for here. In my opinion the success of this home comes from the top - so well done to the Management! Etheldred House gets my vote across the board and I think that the CQC report pretty much reflects that.
