My grandmother was brought to this nursing home due to her having dementia and not being able to go home. The staff would do everything to make her stay comfortable, they were also really kind. My Grandmother was really happy there. She really enjoyed the food that was cooked and they would provide her with anything she wanted when it came to food. She would go to activities when they were on. This Nursing Home take really good care of their residents |

My grandfather was moved here after being taken to Hinchingbrooke following a fall in his home. Hinchingbrooke moved him without consulting the family or his wife. He had suffered a fracture within his pelvis. Within hours of arrival he reported issues arising from a missed medication. I requested he see a doctor, this did not happen. The family chased this morning and night for 4 days, every time we were promised one was coming that day.
My grandfather reports to them he was sticking to the bed, but nobody took any notice.
He was meant to be receiving daily physio, but no-one came.
After 5 days here, without once being got out of bed, with poor if any personal care, he was readmitted to Hinchingbrooke with bed sores, which he had never had in his life until going in here, with a urine infection because they would not get a GP to attend, and with pneumonia because he had been bed bound.
To top it off they lost his brand new dentures. Which they refused to take responsibility for until I advised I would send a bill, at which point they miraculously appeared from the laundry room. |
