Sep 16 2016 Thornton mannor is a great care home! The staff are all very friendly a d go out of their way to provide the best care possible. When visiting, all the residents looks clean and were enjoying some fun activities. The new layout makes the home feel more 'homely' and has a very cosy atmosphere. Best residential home in cheshire, my relative loves living there. Well done all at TM.

Aug 13 2014 not run properly residents left for long periods in their rooms poor communication off staff due to their language barrier a dog runs freely around the home its the managers bit confusing to residents with hallucinations the carpets are stained and dirty as are the mattresses the home smells of urine upstairs as clients pads arent changed on a regular basis how they have passed with the cqc is beyond me as there is no quality or standards of care being met its sad for residents as they have no quality of life they have no activities at all so thats a lie believe me
