Catchpole court is registered to provide nursing for people with dementia and also people who require general nursing. The home is divided into two units totaling 58 beds, all beds are registered for dementia. This allows for those people who have a diagnosis of dementia but have& physical needs outweighting their dementia diagnosis to be cared for in a nursing setting. Our dementia unit caters for individuals with a moderate to severe dementia.& The home has a team of registered mental health and general nurses to ensure the varying needs of our service users are met over a 24 hour period.& The home also employs a number of very well trained care staff. Sudbury is a market town with a population of approximately 300,00, situated in the picturesque constable country in suffolk.& The home offers spacious lounges and conservatory areas which have recently undergone redecoration and refurbishment.& The spacious gardens also include secure areas and sensory corners.& A good percentage of bedrooms overlook the front garden, and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms. & The home also has the benefit of being close to shops, "croft area" and river stour.& Relatives and staff often take the service users to this relaxing and attractive area to have afternoon tea or just to feed the ducks. |
