Mar 12 2018 How refreshing / rewarding it was to see the Staff management and Kitchen Chef,given a rapturous round of applause by the 11 Ladies for the florally decorated Mothers Day Table and thier excellent Dinner.. Us gentlemen where looked after just as superbly !! I am one of those lucky Gentlemen

Dec 1 2015 Here we are 1st December 2015 tradionally when our parents and there parents before them announced Xmas is coming !! Here a Welshwood (as I've said b4 ) they remember their clientele's traditions, We awoke to the Xmas tree all dressed, adorning the Lounge, lights sparkling & flashing baubles hanging like icicles !! Magical just magical !! Early breakfast , we all enjoyed unaware of the pleasures to come !!! Emagine it Stage, Lights, Curtain all in place. Not an empty seat or place to stand !!! The start of a show by a duo from Fabulous Tickled Pink !! Danced, Sang & Entertained,is for over an hour !! Tap dancing,singing & Showmanship worthy of any Westend Show. Thank you to the Wonderful Management & Staff Past & Present for starting our December ( Xmas ) of with a Cracker ( sorry for the Pun ). Here at Welshwood Manor the Spirit of Christmas is very much alive Thank you

Sep 20 2015 We woke on the morning of the 12th September 2015 to find our lounge transformed into a room fit for a Queen ready to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's record breaking Reign ! The Staff had made us some beautiful Crowns, Busbies & the kitchen had again excelled with a buffet & cakes to die for not ( literally ) . The fun began with the music of the day, a Royal Quiz took place, quess the number of photos of the queen on our posters , and after a slight accident with our royal dog it was decided to play Stick the tail back on the Corgi. With a range of residents from 64 to 97 the varitity of the entertainment covers all age groups ! Well Done Welshwood Staff on another great event ! We didn't need rocking to sleep that night !
