Oct 29 2017 Unfortunately dad wasn't in Sonia lodge for long but for the short time he was there he was well looked after he arrived very under weight .Dad had vascular dementia and in the previous home sent most of his day alone as soon as he arrived at Sonia lodge he was integrated into the care home eating and trying to talk .The manager and the staff were excellent ,they really know their stuff and made sure all measures were put in place to keep dad safe.It was so good to see a list of all the food dad had been eating. When dad was rushed to hospital I was informed quickly there by I was able to be with him for his last breathe.

Oct 26 2014 I recently visited an old friend I had not seen for a while and was very pleasantly surprised with the warm and friendly welcome I received on entering the home. I was immediately put at ease and offered a beverage. It had a lovely comfortable atmosphere. I would gladly recommend this home to my friends, and would happily place a loved one in this home with total peace of mind for their welfare.
