My mum has been in Kilburn care home ever since august 2015,during that time she has been cared for extremely well by the team of male and female carers. She is a difficult resident with dementia as well as not being able to walk, but the team look after her very well.
The home have people with lots of different needs and they are all catered for.The staff are especially friendly ,I visit a lot,at different times and they always welcome me with smiles and a cup of tea.
She has had a lot of health problems and the nurses address them very quickly. |

Not happy with the service
There is no appointed person in charge 24/7 so this means no members of staff are willing to make decisions
My father in law is blind and cannot walk but is often left waiting for assistance
A couple of times I have gone in the room and it is cold and the windows are left open, my father in law complains he's cold and no proper blankets are given
He often complains he has to wait for fluids as he cannot see where his drinks are
Ringing the buzzer is pointless |
