Queen Elizabeth Park offers residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 77 people.

The many facilities the home has to offer include a bar, lounge, dining areas and Snoezelen therapy room complete with soothing light features. If a resident is agitated or distressed, the room helps these feelings melt away. The home also offers pet therapy, where residents are encouraged to pet and stroke a specially trained Labrador which visits twice a week.

There is no time for boredom here. The weekly planned activities programme is full and varied. There are outings arranged twice a week. A quick hop on the homes private mini bus and residents can enjoy a leisurely coffee and catch-up in town or a stroll around the Horticultural Gardens.

For those who would prefer to be entertained within the home, Queen Elizabeth Park has plenty to offer. Live musicians come along and play the residents favourite tunes, where everyone has a good old sing along, whilst screenings of classic movies, complete with popcorn, are also popular.

Queen Elizabeth Park is not just a residential, nursing and dementia care home. The interior is so elegantly and tastefully put together and the menus are so delicious you'll want to stay for dinner with your loved one every night. There is a real sense of home, where residents, staff and regular visitors create a vibrant community.

My mother was admitted to the QEP in June 2018 suffering from vascular dementia. From the day she was admitted to the day she died, the staff at QEP showed enormous care, kindness and professionalism in every aspect of their daily routines. Although Mum was incapacitated, the staff made sure she got involved with many activities on offer. The food was excellent and it really did feel like home. Thank you to all the staff.

I am writing to thank you very much for the highly-professional, but above all kind and loving way in which you looked after my father during the two years that he was with you... I would have no hesitation in recommending Queen Elizabeth Park to friends.

We just wanted to say thank you for giving our granny such good care over the last few years, Were grateful to all the team for the time and care you have given to her when we were not able to be there. We appreciate it is not easy work, but appreciate the dedication you have shown.
