St Annes Community Services Greenacres

Greenacres is a large dormer bungalow which has been extended to accommodate 5 clients.It is situated in the pleasant historic market city of Ripon, approximately a mile from the city centre.Greenacres is situated in large private grounds.

The bungalow has 5 bedrooms, one of which is situated on the first floor and has its own bathroom.The other 4 bedrooms are all located on the ground floor, one of which has its own en-suite room with a shower. There is a separate w.c. on this floor and a main bathroom which is fitted with both a bath and a walk-in shower.

Greenacres is staffed 24 hours a day by a well trained dedicated staff team. The service we offer is inspected by both the organisation&s senior management team and the Care Quality Commission. The care packages we offer are regularly reviewed by our own team and an assigned Care Manager from the funding authority. This is to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our Clients and plan for their future needs

Clients are encouraged to take part in care planning including reviews, person centred plans and any documented material about them. This is to ensure their dreams and aspirations are acknowledged and acted upon.&

The home welcomes feed back from all stake holders. This is available to view on request within the home. Feed back is used to improve our service and facilities to ensure we provide the best for our Clients and to help us plan for the future.

Clients are empowered to make choices about their lives and are supported to do so by a team of trained support workers, families, friends and other Health Care Professionals

Activities include holidays in this country and abroad, as well as organised day trips for example visiting the seaside, cinema or public houses. We also encourage clients and support them where relevant to participate in local community activities such as &Tea Dances& or luncheon clubs. We also suggest personalised activities as an aim to meet Client&s expectations, requests and aspiring goals
