Westfield Residential Care Home is situated in a residential area of Willerby with bus access to Hull and other parts of East Yorkshire. It cares for 23 older people who may have a memory impairment or dementia. All bedrooms are single occupancy, some with en-suite toilet. There is a communal lounge and a communal dining room, which also has a conservatory attached. There is a passenger lift to the upper floor, a pleasant enclosed garden and parking for eight cars. A family style approach is used for the basis of the care provided and all staff, whatever role they are employed for, share the care of the people that use the service.

May 6 2019 Review by Paul Cawthorn (Son) Hello , I would like to pay compliments to all the staff at Westfield in there total professional way they care for our Mum and also i noticed the care they show for all the residents . Mum , formally of Hudson court in Hessle , lived independently for many years , Becoming older and frailer Mum decided that it would be safer to move to a residential home . Westfield proved to be the ideal place for Mum. Upon arrival Mum was made very comfortable and treated in a loving way . like a member of a big family . We noticed how settled Mum was and were very happy she was interacting with other residents and staff , plus joining in with some of the activity's Westfield provide .Mum became extreamaly frail and eventually passed away very peacefully on the 16th April 2019.During Mums last months at Westfield , the staff where amazing with the care they took with Mums care , addressing all requirments with the highest level of skills . I must mention the fact that members of staff even stayed by Mum,s side up to the end . On behalf of myself and all the members of my family i would like to say a huge thank you to all staff at Westfield for the wonderful work they do . Paul Cawthorn .
