Apr 17 2024 My dad spent 14weeks here ended up in hospital with a grade 4 pressure sore, management are money driven and the whole place should be closed down awful attitude towards patients and their families. Disgraceful place

May 22 2015 My dad went to this care home in August 2014the place was recommend from social services the place is tired and crumbly although staff try to keep moral up with residents .most of staff pleasent enough hardly saw the matron at all and when we did they hardly acknowledged the residants although dad died 8mhts later we would of looked to move him from this home. food was awfull and small portions although described as 5 star.meals with hind sight we would of waited and looked for a much better care home and not felt as rushed by hospital to place dad in somewhere . If given chance to do this again I would never look at this care home

Feb 8 2014 our mother was diagnosed with dementia and was in this home only 4 months when the matron decided to fully discharge our mother to a/e on a Friday evening without notice. All against our families wishes [shocking] this home is not suitable for dementia sufferers and we recommend people to read the latest CQC reports on this home before any decision placement is made.
