Care Home Information
We have offered our services since 1988 and provide nursing care for adults with highly dependant and advanced forms of dementia. Our nursing environment is able to offer provision for those with Alzheimers disease and associated conditions. Those who present with rarer forms of dementia to include PICKS, Vascular, Korsakoffs and other less known forms can also be nursed.& Our field concentrates very much on those who are in the advanced and latter stages of Dementia, as such, we would expect presentations and need to include challenging and disinhibitive behaviours, personality disorders, verbal and physical aggression and high levels of cognitive impairment.
Our service is able to cater for those aged 40 years plus, and we are able to manage associated care requirements which may come as a result of a "section" or DOLs requirement.
We provide nursing care on a long term, respite or day care basis, and can& offer ad-hoc services to assist with drop in requirements as well.
Our service is set in the village of Kirby Muxloe in Leicestershire and provides accommodation in age/need appropriate environments for younger and older people with complex, challenging and advanced forms of dementia and significant mental health care needs.

Mar 3 2023 I visit Barons court providing exercise therapy to the residents. The Staff and quality of care is outstanding. I work in a number of other care homes so have seen a range of care and quality. The residents are cared for with compassion dignity and patients. There is a sense of happiness and friendlyness between the staff as well as between the staff and residents. The staff including Charlotte and Courtney help and encourage the residents to partisipate in activities joining in when they are able. All the staff have a good understanding of the residents there need likes and dislikes. I believe the residents benifit from the envirinment at barons park and the staff are a big part of that.

By: Pat Wilson Rating:.. Jun 9 2013 My husband was living in Barons Park for 2.5 years before he died. I can honestly say that the care he received was second to none. I witnessed the care of all residents by the staff. At all times staff were kind, understanding and competent with residents. The food was outstanding. Obviously prepared with understanding of the residents needs. The activities provided for the more active residents was welcomed by relatives who also joined in when possibe. Also I found that relatives and friends were welcomed at all times and they were willing to have a chat .Coffee mornings and cheese and wine evenings were regularly laid on for relatives and friends which enabled them to chat in informal surroundings. I was always kept informed of my husbands care requirements by the Matron who, together with her staff always found time for me. They were extremely understanding and sympathetic and when my husband passed away. In short, I can highly recommend Barons Park as a home that should be a template on how a Care home should be. I had unpleasant experiences at the home I had originally chosen for my husband but will always be grateful for Barons Park accepting him when I decided that the original home was failing him and not caring for his needs.
