Oct 5 2017 my mother needed care but wanted to be independent .We looked at many at her homes before Choosing Alexandra house. Her care was managed very well . Mum was frail and needed encouragement She got stronger to the point she was able to walk out on her own . Her meals would be taken when she wanted (not always at meal times) during the night if she couldn't sleep Staff would make a hot drink and keep her company . Mum settled in it became her home On days out with family she was always wanting to get back home to Alexandra house Recently she became poorly ,the care the staff gave was very compassionate (they really did care for Mum thanks to all.
