Sep 23 2015 My mother in law has dementia and we needed a place for her to stay whilst we had some building work carried out, as well as needing to take a "care break" - with live with her full time. Ultimately we needed her to be in a safe place for 3 weeks in order for her to come home and we were happy with her overall demeanor and health when we finally collected her. Her weight was stable so we knew she had been eating well and the staff were very positive towards and about her. Other relatives had visited in the time she stayed there and had no complaints about her treatment. it seems a shame that the CQC report labels the home as inadequate (which may be the case for some of the residents) but I would have no problem recommending Marion Lauder for similar purposes. In fact we will certainly be using them again should the need arise.

Apr 21 2013 Our relative has lived at Marion Lauder since 2004 and we are really happy with the standard of care she receives. The staff treat her as though she is their extended family and give her as much love, care and attention as possible. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marion Lauder to other families.
