Apr 13 2018 I feel compelled to compliment a member of staff for making me feel at ease when I made an enquiry over the phone on Monday morning 9/4/18 about my mum needing to go in to a home due to a decline in her dementia. I had spent a weekend in hospital due to mum being dehydrated and was feeling mentally exhausted but this member of staff's phone call manner made me feel at ease,so much so I met with her the same day where she invited me into her office made me a cup of tea. She listened well and answered my questions honestly and with compassion. I was introduced to her colleagues given a tour and invited to come back with mum and we can stay for lunch! I noted the residents all looked relaxed and I noticed. warm interactions between carers and residents. On departure I felt no desire to view other care homes,
