Oakdene Care Home

Oakdene Care Home is a Grade II listed building with a large garden in the heart of the market town of Sleaford. It is near the shops and near some beautiful walks by the river Slea.

It is a 35 bedded nursing and residential home catering for service users who just need supervision to those requiring palliative and terminal care. We do have service users who have mild to moderate dementia whose medical needs out way their mental health requirements. These service users are accepted only if the Home can meet their unique needs.

& Oakdene has 30 bedrooms five of which are shared accommodation. It has three social areas of which one is a large conservatory overlooking the garden.

Oakdene has Wi-Fi throughout the building and laptops that the service users can use if they wish to do so.

We have three local GP surgeries that accommodate our service users. We have links with District nurses who administer to our residential service users, and Specialist Nurses throughout the County who can be called upon for help and advice where needed. This includes Tissue Viability, Continence, Macmillan, Diabetes, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Salt. assessors and others.

At the moment we have& ten beds that are used by the Lincolnshire PCT and LCC for Community Response and Rehabilitation so those& ten service users do change frequently. They are welcomed into the Home as are all our service users and join in with all the activities of the home.
