Jul 10 2015 My mother was in Ashfield House for 20 months. I always found the home and residents to be very clean and the staff very caring. Carers often popped in on their days off to see the residents and would bring in some treats. Entertainment was enjoyed by many but the residents were treated with great respect and if they didn't want to join in then so be it. The food is very good and mother gained weight quite quickly. After this experience I feel all homes are in need of more staff so they can spend time chatting to the people in their care as the demands they have to meet are endless. There are no visiting time restrictions at Ashfield which was very helpful. A big thank you to all staff for their care ..
