Harker House care home has been purpose built in the village of Long Stratton to provide residential care to 35 people over 65-years-old. The home includes a special secure unit for residents living with dementia.
Residents are invited to personalise their furnished room which also contains an emergency call bell system, fire alarm system and TV socket.
The home has adapted baths and showers, a payphone (although residents can choose to have a telephone point in their room), a hairdressing room and a secure garden.
The home prides itself on its friendly and welcoming environment and all residents have a key worker who works on the individual’s personal care plan, which is continuously reviewed so residents’ choices, interests and hobbies are all accounted for.
