Walcot Hall Nursing Home

Walcot Hall provides residential and nursing care for up to 45 older people. Walcot Hall is set in three acres of mature grounds that include a small lake.&

Accommodation is arranged over two floors overlooking the lake, garden and surrounding countryside. The old hall was built in the 18th Century and has recently been refurbished and a new 26 bed extension was completed in November 2009. On the ground floor there are 17 rooms available, while the upper floor comprises of 24 rooms, offering a selection of carefully designed and furnished single and double rooms with en-suite facilities, many with level access showers. Our double rooms also make an ideal setting for individuals who wish to have the benefit of more personal space and are available at an enhanced rate. Rooms are equipped with a 24 hour nurse call system, television and telephone point – individual telephone services can be provided on admission at a favourable rate. Two passenger lifts provide access to both floors.

Residents can relax in our comfortable sitting rooms where they can meet for coffee or watch television and enjoy the outstanding view of the grounds and surrounding countryside at both homes. There is extensive car parking with easy and level access to the home.

& We provide 24hr nursing care through our team of experienced registered nurses and care staff. Medical services are provided by local GP practices, The Lawns and Parish Fields at Diss Health Centre. Other specialist healthcare practitioners are available.

There is good provision for specialist equipment and adaptations to meet the individual needs of residents, which are serviced regularly and kept well maintained.

Wi-Fi is available& to enable residents to maintain closer links with relatives and the wider community.
