Demonstrated a lack of empathy and understanding for a stroke victim. Laid a patient on his broken arm, in his own excrement, and took a photo. Appalling. |

We as a family are extremely impressed with the high standard of care shown to my sister at St Luke's Hospital. All the staff including nurses, care assistants, cleaners, receptionists, catering and maintenance staff are so caring it's like one big happy family.
The staff give her the privacy and dignity she deserves. They are considerate for all her personal and medical needs and have shown her warmth, attention and devotion. They allow personal effects in your room to make it feel like home. On our times spent at the nursing home we have noticed the staff show the same respect for all their patients and patrol the corridors night and day making sure everyone is comfortable.
Everyone is courteous to our family and all her visitors and can not do enough for us at this difficult time. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and they go out of their way to be most helpful and always have a smile for everyone. They are so supportive in a caring environment with such an impeccably high standard of care. All the staff are concerned about her and always ask how she is. The receptionists always smile and chat to us when we are coming and going and are interested in her well-being.
We are very glad we chose St Luke's Hospital for my sister to end her days and would highly recommend it to anyone who found themselves in the same position as we were, knowing there was nothing else that could be done for her. |
